About me

I grew up on the west coasts of both Canada and England. I studied Illustration at Falmouth School of Art in the UK, and following college I began illustrating children’s books,  later working as an artist and designer in video game,  television and movie production.

After working in the commercial art space for many years I needed a change. I had always been fascinated by the natural flows of energy, nature and Eastern philosophy, so I left my commercial art career and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I practiced Acupuncture and massage with my amazing wife at our health spa business in Vancouver.

Now, we live in Portugal, and I enjoy creating beautiful oil painting commissions. I am very grateful to be able to create portraits or to re-create people’s special memories to last forever on canvas.
