We had the '100 year storm', at the beach where I live last October. 25 - 30 foot perfect barrelling waves that came of nowhere one Sunday afternoon and then completely disappeared in only 4 hours. It was mesmerizing to watch, the entire town turned out. No-one could believe the sheer size of these giant waves. Luckily the sun cooperated and I managed to take the reference photos that eventually became 'Big Sunday'
