Letting Go, that point in life, or in a barrel, when you just can’t hold on any longer, don’t. Let go and trust.

I took the picture that became “Letting Go” during some uncharacteristically good surf here on the South coast of Portugal. I was lucky enough to get a shot right inside the barrel as it was closing out, what a rare view!

“Letting Go” was created using charcoal, fixed on 140 lb Arches Hot Pressed Watercolour paper, 30″ x 20″.
